Prep Time: 20 Minutes
Cook Time: 4-5 hours for chicken; 20 Minutes to finish
Makes 6 servings
Ingredients:
- 3 chicken breasts
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup roasted red pepper (finely chopped)
- 1/4 cup red onion (finely chopped)
- 1/4 cup Panko bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup mayo
- 2 TBSP olive oil
- 4 TBSP Pallotta Hot Original Pepper Sauce
Preparation
- Begin by slow cooking chicken breast in a slow cooker for 4-5 hours
- Once the chicken is done, shred the breasts using a fork and let sit to cool
- In a bowl, combine the roasted red peppers, red onion, olive oil and shredded chicken breast, mix and make into patties
- Cover patties in panko bread crumbs
- Add a little bit of olive oil to a frying pan and place the patties in the pan. Cook until each side is brown and crispy
- While patties are cooking, in another bowl, mix together the mayo and the PH Original Pepper Sauce to top the patties with
- Once patties and PH mayo sauce is done, place patties over a bed of baby spinach (add wild rice for a nicer dish) and drizzle the PH mayo sauce over the top of the patties, and serve
*Increase or decrease the amount of PH Original Pepper Sauce you would like to mix with the mayo depending upon how much heat you like
