Ingredients

  • 5 pound pork shoulder (bone in)
  • 1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 5 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 2 diced vine tomatoes
  • 4 oz chicken stock
  • 4 oz freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 2 oz freshly squeezed Lime juice
  • ½ bottle of PH Original Pepper Sauce
  • 1 package soft tortilla shells

Preparation

  1. Place pork shoulder into slow cooker or crock pot and add garlic cloves
  2. Rub garlic cloves and all spices into the pork. No need to be gentle here. Try to get the spices and garlic into the pork fibers. This will naturally tenderize the pork.
  3. Put the onions and tomatoes over the pork shoulder and pour the chicken stock, orange juice and lime juice over the pork shoulder and rub into the shoulder
  4. Set the crock pot or slow cooker to low and let sit for 8 hours
  5. Once the pork is done cooking remove the bone and shred the meat the let simmer in the juices for 1 hour
  6. Once done remove the juice from the crock pot or slow cooker and stir in the Pallotta Hot Original Pepper Sauce
    1. if you like you may leave the juice and instead drizzle Pallotta Hot Original Pepper Sauce over the pulled pork once it is in the burrito
  1. Place the tortilla shells in the microwave for 20 seconds to heat and soften
  2. Fill the burrito with the pulled pork, roll the burrito to both ends so the ends of the tortilla stick together, enjoy
